Marie Haddox, PhD. mhaddox@spectrumcounseling.net Dr. Marie Haddox has been working in the Behavioral Health field for over 10 years. She completed her undergraduate study in Clinical Psychology at Arizona State University in 1990. By 2002, she received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from United States International University in San Diego, CA. Dr. Haddox worked for five years at Banner Desert Medical Center as a Crisis/Intake therapist in the Behavioral Health and Emergency Departments with patients with severe mood disorders and substance abuse issues. Dr. Haddox’ private practice focuses primarily on relationship counseling with individuals, couples, and families. She also works with clients struggling with anxiety and depression. Through a safe, therapeutic relationship, clients are assisted in confronting the obstacles and difficulties which have kept their lives from reaching full potential. Her treatment approach is mostly cognitive-behavioral, however every treatment plan is developed based on each client’s particular needs and goals.
Juanita L. Adams, MC, LPC Licensed Professional Counselor Juanita L. Adams is a psychotherapist in private practice who has been serving the Behavioral Health field in the East Valley for 19 years. She completed her undergraduate at Brigham Young University. She obtained her Masters of Counseling at Arizona State University in 1989. She offers a wide range of psychological services to a diverse population of individuals, families and couples. She has extensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual abuse, relationship issues and blended families. She piloted Learning to Step Together which provides resources for blended family members. Juanita has extensive training in trauma recovery and is certified in EMDR. Her experience allows her to provide the particular modality of treatment to fit each individual's presenting issue. She is committed to teaching her clients tools that will help them reach their goals and lead a fulfilling, productive life. |
